This summer volunteers have been busy collecting and dropping off donated backpacks for St. Louis Park Public Schools. Cargill, STEP, and Homeowners Financial Group have worked hard to ensure students who need backpacks can get them for the first day of school.

Last year, Minnesota Reading Corps provided direct services to more than 30,000 children in more than 700 sites across the state.
Nearly 100 teachers, principals and administrators were hard at work August 10, 2016, at the Annual District Data Retreat. The workshop combined leadership training with an examination of district and school student achievement data, using common language and purpose.
